The Flow-Through Emitter-Detector Unit
(WATER-FT) is designed for ultrasensitive assessment of phytoplankton in
natural surface waters.The WATER-FT Emitter-Detector Unit complements the
existing production line of the WATER-PAM Chlorophyll Fluorometer developed
for highly sensitive measurements of chlorophyll content and photosynthetic activity of phytoplankton in natural surface waters. In comparison with
the standard WATER-ED and the fiberoptics version WATER-EDF, it is
particularly robust and water-proof, thus being best suited for field work
and on-deck operation. The major fields of application are:
